Tim Deremer and Larry Durian put on a wonderfully "fun" convention. He was featured performer at "Two Strings Attached," an Illusion and Magic Show at the Cleveland Heights Civic Center in 2002. Drew made a young lady float in mid-air, used his magical skills to produce two master magicians out of nowhere, cleverly out two gerbils in a box and made the gerbils and the box vanish in an instant, made a large red ball disappear and reappear in different places and successfully performed a very funny trick involving a bandana (the crowd of 400 loved it). He also managed to be a ham of sorts, cutting in with his name and voice when Rick Smith Jr. tried to introduce his own name at the beginning of the show. And, of course, Drew was on hand for a mid-show photo opportunity.
